A good help desk is an invalueable sales and customer satisfaction aide. A live help desk requires at least one member of your staff to be available to answer questions on demand. Often the task can be spread between several sales or customer service representatives and is more like a phone call only typed.

Helping a customer now, when they have that question, is more valuable than an answer tomorrow when they and their money is gone.
